July 2026 – Shin MIZUKOSHI no Yukari 水越伸の縁

2026年の春先にスマートニュース研究所のインタビューを受けた記事が公開されています。メディア・リテラシーという言葉にずっと違和感を抱きつつ、それでも付き合い続け、取り組み続けて、30年が経ちました。その軌跡をまとめてもらいました。

An article featuring an interview I gave earlier this spring to the SmartNews Research Institute has been published online. Although I’ve always felt somewhat uneasy about the term ‘media literacy’, I’ve nevertheless continued to engage with it and work on it, and now 30 years have passed. They’ve summarised that journey for me.

3月14日に開催された、第3回INSTeMコンベンション 2026 Spring @立命館OIC「大人のためのリテラシー：分断の中の協同」の記録レポートを、INSTeMのウェブサイトでアップしました。とてもおそくなってごめんなさい。

あらためて、立命館大学デザイン・アート学部の関係者、19の出展者、そして参加者のみなさまにお礼申し上げます。とても楽しかったですね。

今後は、毎回のコンベンションに参加してくださる方々のネットワークをどのように維持、発展させていくかが課題だと考えています。INSTeMのメンバーでその具体策を話し合っているところです。引き続き、どうかよろしくお願いします。

I have published a report on the 3rd INSTeM Convention 2026 Spring @ Ritsumeikan OIC, held on 14 March, entitled ‘Literacy for Adults: Collaboration Amidst Division’, on the INSTeM website. I apologise for the long delay

I would like to take this opportunity to once again express my gratitude to the staff and students of the College of Arts and Design at Ritsumeikan University, the 19 exhibitors, and all the participants. Was it great fun, wasn’t it?

Looking ahead, I believe a key challenge will be how to maintain and develop the network of people who attend each convention. We, the INSTeM members, are currently discussing specific measures to achieve this. We look forward to your continued support.
