原著は1951年、邦訳は新曜社から1987年に出版されていました。
哲学者･久保秀幹さんがていねいな改訂をなさいました。
僕はこの文庫版の解説エッセイ「現代メディアへの予言の書」を書きました。

A new Japanese translation of The Bias of Communication (1951) by Harold A. Innis has been published as Chikuma Gakugei Bunko.
Shukan Kubo, a philosopher, and the translater, did fabulous fine tunings for his first work in 1987.
I contributed an introduction essay, Book of Prophecy to Contemporary Media.
I reread the classic piece and study on Innis in the past summer.
It was a happy time for me.
Now, it was published online.
